Hon. Karen K. Hall        

                 Circuit Judge

          Judge Hall has been a Madison County Circuit Judge since February of 2005.  Prior to serving as circuit judge, she was a Madison County District Judge and an Assistant District Attorney. She served as the Division Chief in the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Unit from 1989 to 1993 and prosecuted only violent crimes from 1994 to 1996.  Judge Hall received  her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Cumberland School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts, Political Science from the University of Florida.  She is a distinguished member of the Alabama and Florida Bar Associations and the recipient of numerous honors, including the National Association for Community Leadership's 2000 Distinguished Leadership Award and the University of Florida's Hall of Fame.  Judge Hall is a member of many associations such as the Alabama Association of District Judges, Madison County Mental

Health Court Task Force, Huntsville Rotary Club, Madison County Juvenile Court Advisory Board, the National and Alabama Councils of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, and the Huntsville/Madison County Leadership Program.
