Circuit Judge

      Judge Williams has been a circuit judge since February 1996 and the presiding circuit Judge in Madison County since January of 2004.  Prior to becoming a Circuit judge, he was a District Court Judge for a short period of time.  Judge Williams was a partner in the Huntsville firm of Stephens, Millirons, Harrison, and Williams and practiced law for 20 years before becoming a judge.  He received his Bachelor of the Arts from Auburn University and his Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law of Samford University.  Judge Williams is a member of both the Alabama State and Huntsville-Madison County Bar Associations and has been a fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers since 1991.  He is also active in the community as a member, officer and director in various civic organizations including the American Heart Association, the Greater Huntsville Humane Society and the Huntsville Kiwanis among others.
